Plan Your Visit
The Black Loyalist Heritage Centre is currently open Monday – Friday, 9:30am – 4:00pm for museum visits and tours. Our office hours are Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 4:30pm.
While leashed pets are welcome to walk with you along the grounds, pets are not permitted inside the Centre or site buildings. Certified service and guide animals are welcome.

Adult
Admission- $5.75 with Military ID
Senior/Student
Admission- Seniors age 65+
- Students age 6-17, or those with valid Student ID
- $3.50 with Military ID
Family
Admission- Includes up to 2 adults, and 3 senior/students
- $15 with Military ID

Adult Pass- Unlimited visits to all 28 Nova Scotia Museums – including the Black Loyalist Heritage Centre.

How to Find Us
Our Centre and Site is located just off Exit 27 on Highway 103.
We are approximately 2.5 hours outside of Halifax, or 1 hour from Yarmouth via Highway 103.
If you are staying in Shelburne, you can take the Lighthouse Route via Trunk 3 West – we are just a short 10 minute drive outside of town.
